this last week have been amazing and fun and tiring, filled with old and new friends. ill try to make this short and to the point.
monday my class was cancelled so lorrisa dragged me to a metal show her friend tour managing. we looked up the bands and were not looking forward to it at all especially because we were wearing all pastels. we got there and it was AMAZING. seriously. we had the best time. the guys were amazing, the show was soo entertaining. i stole a set list of the headlining band...Behemoth. there was a band from poland and one from france and they were so nice. over all an amazing night.
tuesday ben, trevor and peter came with emery. i got to hangout with them all day and then kate and i went to the show. the aftershow party ended up back in the bus and a dance party was started. it lasted until about 3am and then, peter, ben, kate and i went to jack in the box. ben bought us all $26 worth of food and we came back and ate it all. ben then fell asleep sitting up and we all went to bed. the next day i made then all banana bread and had the same day all over again, but with halloween and girls in some interesting costumes. emery did a hilarious show where they all dressed as their favorite bible character. then more dance party and getting home late.
the next day quinn got here with melee. quinn, chris, gabe and tony all came over. we talked and laughed and had a great time. quinn stayed over and the next day we all went to get coffee and chat it up. quinn helped us move kate and then madelines parents got here and we finished moving kate. after that we went to the melee show and had a great time. the headliner...matt nathanson did journey's dont stop believin and i was so excited we all sang out hearts out. we all went to dennys after and had lots of food. then they drove me and quinn home. and that brings us to today and now quinns staying until sunday.

pure craziness
Wow, a lot has been going on lately. Everything that can go wrong pretty much has been. It has actually come to the point where something goes horribly wrong and i just start cracking up...yeah, I think I’m going a little crazy at this point. I’ve been working so much and trying to do homework also that I’m averaging about 3.5-6 hours of sleep a night. Good things have happened too though.
1. I went to see Every Time I Die, which was a complete blast, as always. But I actually took a cab to the show because I was already late and friends were already there. Got to the Warfield $30 later. Once I get there I found out it has been moved to the Fillmore. By this point there’s not way I’m spending another $20 to get back to the other side of town again, so I take the bus. When I finally get there I have to pay for my ticket; the 5 different people who offered to get me in, stuff happened and it didn’t work out. I met up with Zach, Madeline, lo and sally. Sally soon left, so gave me her backstage pass and lo and I started the party. Keith said he'd give every crowd surfer a high five and if he didn’t he'd give them $1 later, so one girl got dropped on the ground and the show stopped to make sure she was ok, but then we continued to rock again.

Lo and her friend's Ryan and Jeff came back to my place. We played cards and everyone feel asleep in my old room and living room.
2. Lo and I went to see The Darjeeling Limited, and oh man, it was good. Since when is Adrien Brody cute? We had the craziest people EVER in the theatre though. I can’t even explain.

3. Went to Courtney and Dave's wedding and had sooo much fun. I lost my ID there, which is weird because I never even took it out of my purse. I think it's the first wedding I’ve been to this year where I didn’t feel slightly depressed at some point. It was good to see family and Dave, welcome to the family! I forgot my camera, so I don't have any pictures to post yet.
4. Jon Reid moved out and i moved into his room. i love it.
5. I have started serving.
6. As much as I don't like rain, I could really go for the sound of it on the window right about now.

very long.
Well, the last couple of weeks have been a bit of a blur. A lot has happened and obviously I haven’t been keeping track of any of it. Ill try to summarize as quickly and accurately as possible.
A couple weeks ago Danny and Gabe drove all the way up from San Luis Obispo to see us. They picked me up from work and we went to meet Kate and lorissa at the Fly bar, we then went to Madrone and danced a little. When we got back to the car, someone had smashed through the window and stole Gabe’s Wii. We were all sad about this and I still feel partly responsible (don’t leave anything sitting in your car in San Francisco). They didn’t take Danny’s new Mac Book or Ipod though, this we were all thankful for. I took them to Haight street to eat of, of course, Citrus club, and we also went to the Mission district and Gabe showed me a store I’d never been to, Paxton’s ___something. We also went to the pirate store next door. Danny and I made Thai food for dinner. Dancing at Delirium. Lo and Theron came over. I made banana pancakes for breakfast. Good times with good people.

danny, kate, gabe
The next week Sean came (haha, he’s going to kill me for that one) to shoot skate stuff, but was kind of hurt so he just hung out with us. We took him to Haight and Citrus Club…surprise. And went out every night. Met up with Brenton, Logan and TJ, now Joseph. Played pool with Man. Went to Delirium, ate sausages at Gestault Haus.

There was also another wedding in there. Jenny Brooks (family friend and used to baby sit me…back when moon shoes were SICK) and Cole. The day before we got up early and went to the flower market to get all the flowers for the wedding.

after we worked all day to help set up the wedding we had 40 minutes to go home and change, but it was beautiful.

random panty hose by the dance floor. later found out they were Jane Brook's (mother of the bride)

Dick and Jane (yes I'm serious. Jane is one of my mom's best friends. she's hilarious and inspiring)

they also had a photobooth. my mom and I.

my mom and her fabulous friends.
After those pretty major events I was tired, plus I had school and work on top of those things. I was trying to concentrate my energy on that when all of the sudden…Monday night I start feeling sick. Tuesday I wake up and have the full blown flu. Well, I went to school anyway…it’s a 6 hour class and it’s too early in the year to miss school. Went straight home and started freezing up, and woke up sweating like it was Chico in the summer. I went to work yesterday, felt like I was going to die. I spent yesterday on the couch watching Grey’s Anatomy and talked to my parents. When I was talking to my mom I started crying. Man I sucks to be in so much pain with no one to try to make you feel better. These are the times to have a mom around. She offered to come pick me up. Anyway, its now Friday and I’m still feeling like crap. I also haven’t been sleeping for longer than an hour at a time, could be why I started crying from just pure exhaustion. I took myself to the Dr. but they didn’t accept insurance…rates start at $240 and go up from there. That’s without meds. So I left. I went to the USF Hospital, but they said I couldn’t be helped because I didn’t go to school there. So I went and got groceries, I’m not very good at resting I’ve realized. I have been busy watching Narnia, Pride and Prejudice and Grey’s Anatomy. Sam and friends come tomorrow. Man I hope I feel better by that time.
Congratulations if you got all the way through it.

treasure island music festival
hmm, I can't seem to find a blog where i wrote about the Treasure Island Music Festival that Zach took me too, so I'll write about it right now...Zach and I met up and went to the place where they have the limo buses to take everyone across the bay and made our way through crowds of people. He had the VIP pases from work, so that was pretty cool because we could actually just stand on the side and see. they also had bleachers for VIP and a shaded area with food and drinks and really comfy chairs. we had a good time and saw everyone we wanted to see. here's the link...Treasure Island Music Festival i would totally go again.
here are some pictures i took from my phone up in the bleachers of how big the crowd was for Modest Mouse...HUGE!
