Last night we went to Brenton's friend's house...Aaron Lee for his 21st. and it was surprisingly low-key. We did watch this about 20 times though. Wait for the 2:06 mark.

I'm working on being more productive before school starts. I’ve been running again lately. I cleaned out my room. I’m working on my drawing for shelly again. Today I’m going to work on my wall of inspiration. oh! I’ve been watching some of Shark Week!! ahhhh! I love shark week!

Kate and I are getting our pets tomorrow. They are really hard to find.

Oh and by the way, I now have a Blackberry so if any of you have one we can be Blackberry messenger buddies now. Yay.

today, kate and i went to costco. after we bought stuff, we stopped by the food area. kate got a hot dog and iced tea. i got a polish dog, coke AND frozen yogurt because im a little fat kid.

im now waiting for brenton and jon to get here to go brenton's friends 21st. WOOO PARTAY! should be interesting.

last night kate and i went to her friend Owen's house for what was supposed to be a dinner party, but it ended up being more of a social gathering with food. not a full out party, but not dinner. it turned into everyone had to take at least one tequila shot. then we had wine, then more people took shots, then came the Jameson and coke. we ate, drank, laughed. OH! and drew. Owen put out a paper and watercolor and colored pencils and we got to all draw and paint. kate drew a hippo and i drew a shark (inspired by a shark show id watched earlier, man i love sharks). we then had to leave and go to our friend Geoff's because he was having people over too. we stayed and talked for awhile and then matt and friend picked us up and brought us home. tonight at work one of my co-workers asked if id go home with him...i started laughing and when he didnt, i asked if he was serious, which apparently he was. i guess he thought we had bonded over our earlier conversation about how we both like our ice cream softer as opposed to the rock solid stuff. so after i thought about how 1. dont go home with guys. 2. he has a 4 year old daughter 3. i had to go to a friends show. i quickly said no. so he replied with.."alright, ill just ask again some other time." so after work i snuck out with out anyone really noticing and went straight to the Make Amends show. i got there in time to see their last 2 songs. YAY. i rarely get to see them play so i was excited. then i passed up a ride home to see the last band called Seize the Night. they were amazing! i loved them. i thought i was totally over hardcore music, except of course my one weakness cough every time i die cough cough, but they totally sucked me in. THEN i got a phone call on the way home and my buddy jonathan owens is in town! YAY

well, kate and i had quite the adventure last night. it started out by having one of our many dates with each other. we went to citrus club and it was amazing...as always.

we then came home and popped open some champagne and then we heard this alarm of sorts going off. so kate decided it was these neighbors who always wake me up stomping up and down the stairs early every morning. she wanted to throw stuff at their window. so, naturally she threw a marmite lid and also all of jon's frozen halibut also. great idea, so then we hopped on the bus to meet up with bahram and friend at the fly bar.





after a couple bars, going down to the mission and staying until last call, we made out way home. we met a guy who then invited himself to stay with us, which was not flying by us. after him following us for about an hour, we finally got rid of him. we then talked to sean fer dayz and made it home at about 4am.

LA is a bust

so Kate and i eventually left her grandmas and headed to my cousin Courtney’s. Dave took us all out to dinner at a Japanese place where the cook the food in front of you. it was amazing. ill post pictures when she sends me some...hint hint. we swam in her pool lots and went hot tubbing past pool hours because we are complete rebels. we met Kevin at this bar called cha cha lounge in silverlake. got to meet his friend Alex from NY. there's a pretty funny story about when kate met him inside and i guess ill tell you if you ask, but only in person. the next day we went to Melrose and then to the Amoeba on Sunset and then found the Elliot Smith wall and took pictures. after we got back dave and courtney took out out to dinner AGAIN at some Jewish place called Brent's. the portions were HUGE and i was good.





the next day we drove down the Long Beach, where i guess they were having some volleyball tournament. but we drove past it and went the beach and had ourselves a little cocktail picnic. boosh just so happened to NOT be in long beach when we were so that was lame. the beach was the crappiest one i have ever been to. there were no waves, the water was really murky and i couldnt even see my feet when the water was to my knees. it was gross.



Then we went to some mexican place on 4th st and it SUCKED. kate got a burrito, which was probably good, but i got a tostada with shrimp and all it was was shrimp with chopped tomatoes and cilantro. and i pretty much like everything EXCEPT cilantro. and man, it was COVERED in cilantro. kate couldn’t even eat it because it had tomatoes. after that we went home and decided to go back to SF. the next morning i went swimming again and we slowly packed up and drove home. so here we are in SF and have never been happier to be back. LA is cool and all but not when it's burning hot and we are getting lost constantly, next time we'll need a tour guide.

i drove down to Fullerton 2 nights ago.staying here with kate's parents and grams and man, it is hot. so here i am..in orange county. these people here are ridiculous. and they are all horrible drivers. we must have gotten lost about 5 times yesterday. we drove about 5 hours just to walk around for about one hour. kate is still trying to get her tattoo but not having an ID is posing a problem. so, we went down to hunnington beach, but of course didnt end up there. we ended up in newport, so walked around, got some koosies that are pretty amazing. we'll have to get pictures.

we are heading to Heroes in a minute for lunch and then off to either long beach or chatsworth to stay with my cousin Courtney. oh and Dave too! and the 2 cats. shout outs!

more slacking

so, i guess im really bad at keeping this updated. woops. anyway...wednesday adventure day now officially has it's own blogspot found at...Adventure Wednesdays. we've been having more fun lately. i cant even think of what ill ive done. sunday we went to Pop's and enjoyed some amazing karaoke. we also danced up a storm at delirium one of those nights too. tuesday night we went with sally to this hotel to meet some of her friends and i ended up going swimming, which was amazing. man i miss swimming in the summer. then some of brentons friends stayed the night. wednesday adventure day we went down to the island to meet for wild in the streets and took some pictures.

this little kid was posing for everyone. it was pretty adorable.

then, kate and i went to the mission and ate some great Vietnamese then went home. a couple hours later we went back to mission and dolores park and met brenton, his dad and brother there. sally soon joined. that place was sooo packed. i saw way too many people i knew. saw gino, clay, arial, kahim, jonah, geoff, abe, as well as many others. kevin (aka reggie, as he introduced himself), and sean came, along with their posse. we all hung out, watched fire works, then went to delirium. after awhile there went back to the hotel again and swam more until we got kicked out. it was a very enjoyable day. except for the fact that i didnt have a hot dog, watermelon or beer! whats up with that?
