I haven’t been on here in awhile and I should update a lot of stuff, but I probably wont just because I don’t want to talk about a lot of it and I just don’t feel like writing a ton right now. Run-on sentence?

My birthday was on the 29th and my mom came to SF with me and we shopped, she got me a facial and we went out to Tadich Grill (my favorite place in the city). Aw man, it was good. When I got home, Monica, Sam and Kate were all there to wish me Happy Birthday and hangout for a little bit.

The next day Monica, Sam and I went to good old Las Vegas and it was a blast. Didn’t see Sean a whole lot, but I had a really good time with Mon and Sam. I think our overall favorite place was New York New York. Sam and I won money playing blackjack and we all had a nice romantic dinner. We did a lot of walking around and it was definitely nice having a place on the strip (The Caesar, thanks Rachel!). we went to a casino with Sean and some of his friends one night, and went to a typical Vegas show another. New Years we got to see fireworks, which is one of my favorite things in the world. Another night Sam and I went to Club Pure. We had a good time, but I definitely am not a club person. Vegas feels like a different country. Crazy people, drinking on the streets, and bars that never close. Sam had to leave a day early and Monica and I went over to the Stratosphere and did the Big Shot (the thing on the top that shoots you up). Oh my gosh, that was amazing. I want to do it 5 more times. After that we went to Sean’s friend Matt’s house. We all went to a bar downtown and came home early. It was nice being in a house and away from the strip and casinos. The last day was spent eating, watching TV, and playing with Matt’s dog, Bario; a nice change of pace. I’m glad we all got to go and had a blast. The only thing I didn’t see that I’m a little bummed about was an Elvis impersonator, oh well. I’m still waiting for pictures from Sam and Monica…hint hint. Thanks to Sam, Monica, Rachel, RJ, Terry, Sean, Matt, Scotty and Bario!

After Monica and my flight was delayed and almost cancelled due to weather we finally got back to Chico at 4am. When I got there the power was out for 4 days until I finally lost it and went back to San Francisco. It is so nice to be back home. I feel like I was gone for a whole month straight. Since I’ve been back Madeline’s boyfriend, Jason has been here, so I haven’t seen her a whole lot, but that will soon change when Rachel gets back tomorrow and Jason leaves the next day. I’m cooking Rachel a welcome home dinner and hopefully the next day we can walk down to Baker Beach and have a little roommate day/picnic. Aww, it’s good to be home.
